Founded in 1941, Electro Savings Credit Union traces its origins to the employees of Union Electric Company (now Ameren), who received permission from the State of Missouri on April 23, 1941 to form Electro Credit Union—later known as Electro Savings Credit Union. In 2016, the organization marked 75 years of local ownership and decision-making, reflecting its long-standing focus on the communities it serves. Today, Electro Savings Credit Union continues to build on member loyalty and local commitment in the St. Louis area.
